How Giving to The Parish School Transforms Lives
Since our inception in 1983, The Parish School has been a beacon of hope for children aged 2-12 facing communication delays and learning differences.
At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to empower every child and every family, nurturing them through personalized education, innovative therapy and immersion in nature.
At The Parish School, we believe in the potential of every child.
Through our holistic approach to learning, we provide a transformative, life-changing education in a small class-sized setting. Our innovative curriculum and therapy programs are individualized to address each child’s unique needs, fostering growth and development in communication, social skills, independence and the arts.
The Parish School education is not just interventions; it is a pathway to unlocking each child’s full potential, propelling them into the next stages of their lives with confidence and capability.
This program is unique in Houston with master’s level speech-language pathologists leading classrooms in the Early Childhood program and providing up to seven hours a week of group language therapy in the Elementary program.

The 1983 Society
The 1983 Society recognizes cumulative giving from individuals and families who donate $1,983 or more annually to The Parish School. This leadership level will receive invitations to an annual exclusive event for donors and will receive special recognition in the annual report.

Ways to Support Our School
Whether you give the gift of time or support the school financially, you are making a big impact on a child’s life!
- Support The Parish Fund, our annual fund, and ensures that every child at The Parish School has access to the personalized education and therapy they need to thrive. These donations support annual operations and donors may designate their gift including financial assistance.
- Support the Margaret Noecker Nature Center, Adventure Play or another innovative Parish program.
- Underwrite or attend an event.
- Volunteer at The Parish School.
How can I contribute
The Parish School is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax-deductible. The Parish School accepts the following types of gifts:
- Cash. You may give cash or write a check payable to The Parish School.
- Credit Card. We can charge your gift to any credit card, or you can authorize The Parish School to complete a monthly or quarterly charge to your account.
- Make a Pledge. You can make a pledge to The Parish School and pay it over time until July 31st. To do so, please email advancement@parishschool.org to set it up.
- Securities. Individuals may donate appreciated stock or mutual funds to The Parish School. Such gifts can have significant tax advantages over cash. Please download and complete this form, and return to The Parish School’s advancement department.
- Employer Matching Contributions. Many corporations will match an employee’s gift to a nonprofit organization.
- Bequests. Remember The Parish School in your will and assist us in serving future generations of children.
- In-kind Donations. We accept many donations of goods and services. Please contact the advancement office for more information. If you’ve already made the donation, please complete this form.
- Neighborhood Giving Programs. Your everyday purchases can help support The Parish School! The Parish School will receive a percentage of your purchases made at stores such as Kroger or Randalls.
- Qualified Charitable Distributions. Are you 70½ years young and required to take a minimum distribution from your IRA? When planning your IRA withdrawal strategy, you may want to consider making charitable donations through a QCD. Learn more.
