Calling all Early Childhood Grandparent Gardeners!

Join the Parish Grandparents’ Garden Group. Whether you’re a master gardener or a novice looking to learn, we’d love to have you! The Parish School’s Grandparents’ Garden Group meets during the school day throughout the year to keep Parish’s many gardens growing.

If you are new to our campus, please have your driver’s license on hand to be checked into our Raptor visitor system. If you are a returning visitor, we will have your visitor’s badge on hand and ready to go! Once you are cleared to enter, please head to a picnic table to wait for your grandchild to arrive and/or to receive further instruction. All activities will take place outdoors.

Schedule

Gardening with Grandchildren:
Early Childhood: 11:15-11:45 a.m.
*Because of Parent/Teacher conferences, elementary gardening will take place Friday, February 16.

Grandparents should coordinate with their grandchild’s parent(s) to:

1. Ask the parent to notify your grandchild’s teacher that they will be gardening with you that day.
2. Determine afternoon transportation arrangements (for early childhood students). If the grandchild will be going home with the grandparent, please have a parent notify their teacher.
