Privacy Policy
Our Commitment to Privacy
The Parish School is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust, and accordingly maintains the following privacy policy to protect your personal information.
Basic Confidentiality Policy
It is The Parish School policy that personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail addresses and telephone number, is private and confidential. Accordingly, the personal information you provide is stored in a secure location, is accessible only by designated staff, and is used only for the purposes for which you provide the information (such as to register for an event or make a donation). If you also indicate on our site that you would like to receive The Parish School newsletter or other information, your personal information will be added to the appropriate Parish School mailing list. If at any time you change your mind and would like to add or remove your name from a Parish School mailing list, or correct your personal information, please email us at info@parishschool.org.
Donor Confidentiality
The Parish School will not share or sell any donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
No Release of Information to Third Parties
Personal information will not be released to third parties except to provide your name to instructors for specific training classes for which you have registered. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide personal information to third parties, nor will we sell your information at any time.
No Computer Tracking of Identifiable Information
Our website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. It does recognize the home server of visitors, but not email addresses. For example, we can tell which Internet Service Provider our visitors use, but not the specific names, addresses or other information about our visitors that would allow us to identify the particular visitors to our site. This information is used only for internal purposes by The Parish School technical support staff.
In addition, our website tracks information about the visits to our website. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our site, the daily requests we receive for particular files on our website and what regions those requests come from. These aggregated statistics are used internally to better provide services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
Our Commitment to the Privacy of Children
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important to The Parish School. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website from those we actually know are under age 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under age 13.
Program Participants
The Parish School is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of participants in its various programs.
